Awards CommitteeChair: Delia PerezThis committee partners with the Association of Fundraising Professionals/Greater Philadelphia Chapter to attract, nominate and select recipients of the Legacy Award for Planned Giving Philanthropist that is awarded during the annual National Philanthropy Day. Marketing & Communications CommitteeCo-Chairs: Megan Cantalupo (Newsletter) and Colleen Becht-Foltz (Social Media)
This committee develops and implements all marketing initiatives through a variety of media to increase public awareness of the council and its work, educate members about their opportunities and benefits, and attract new members. Membership CommitteeChair: Justin RodstromAttracting and retaining members is key to the future success of the Council. This committee promotes the Council within the fundraising community while encouraging current members to renew their membership with PGCGP. In addition, scholarship eligibility is awarded to furloughed or unemployed colleagues, or colleagues whose nonprofit budgets do not cover professional development expenses. Mentorship CommitteePlanned Giving Coursesm CommitteeCo-Chairs: Colleen Becht-Foltz and Aruna PappuThe Planned Giving Coursesm is a two-day educational program providing a comprehensive introduction to gift planning for those with little or no experience in this area of fundraising. This is a select committee that develops curriculum, selects faculty, coordinates Course logistics and manages marketing. Planned Giving Day CommitteeCo-Chairs: Kara Chickson and Greg JohnsonPlanned Giving Day is a one-day educational conference involving multiple tracks and sessions, and hosts an exhibit hall where sponsors promote their products and services to conference attendees. This committee consists of several subcommittees that coordinate all aspects of Planned Giving Day from session development, faculty identification, exhibitor recruitment, and marketing. Programs CommitteeCo-Chairs: Anat Becker and Joyce MichelfelderThis committee plans and schedules the Council’s three morning and lunch programs along with periodic roundtables. Committee members identify the educational interests of Council members, recruit presenters, and work with staff to promote the programs. Sponsor Partnerships Co-Chairs: Jessica Brookstein and Dan Greenspon This committee is focused on revenue generating options and securing financial support from our sponsor partnerships. |
